The Panama Canal has emerged as a center of focus again as it expands its locks to accommodate bigger vessels as well as the ever-increasing traffic that literally see a ship jam at the canal as they wait to cross.
The expansion project has been on for some time now and the cement work has begun signaling the closeness to completion. The completion of the project is eagerly anticipated by the shipping community as they waste a lot of time waiting their turn to cross the canal.
